It is so refreshing that this 1940 stone Tudor was brought back to life instead of scraping it to build new on this oversized lot near White Rock Lake! Open floorplans didn't exist in the 1940s, so creating this impressive open living, dining & kitchen space after 80 years was a bit of a challenge for the builder. A full wet bar was also added to the alcove in the living room which makes this open space even more ideal for entertaining. Everyone loves the old covered front porch area, although we probably don't entertain drop-by guests as they did in the 40s! Guests can also spill out the back French doors into the huge backyard, and the paved motor court is a great area for tables for that special party or even a game of basketball. When it's time for a Zoom call, but the guests still haven't left, the expansive home office space above the garage is a great getaway to stay employed.
